Our Name, Our Mission
Instituto Perucano is a member-based nonprofit association based in Iquitos, Peru. Our mission is to build a network of partners and allies who believe in the potential of young Peruvians—supporting their academic and professional journeys as they grow into leaders who inspire positive change throughout Peru and the Americas.
The name Perucano blends Peruano (Peruvian) and Americano (a person from the Americas), symbolizing our commitment to cross-cultural collaboration, learning, and mutual aid.
We connect Peruvians with professional development opportunities across North, Central, and South America while building lasting bridges with the international community. We welcome global partnerships that share our vision for equity, empowerment, and sustainable progress in Peru.
